These gloves are EN 12477 and EN-388 certified. The EN-388 standard refers to protection against hazards associated with manual welding of metals, cutting, and related hand and wrist processes while the EN-388 standard is the European standard used to evaluate mechanical risks for hand protection. Gloves with a EN 388 rating are tested and rated for abrasion, cut, tear, and puncture resistance.
