A complete powered air purifying respirator (PAPR) system. The system is used to filter dust and particles only, not for gases or vapors, and is used to reduce or remove resistance to inhalation during respiration by producing a constant airflow.
The auto-darkening helmet has a viewing area of 98 mm x 48 mm. Blower airflow is 150 l/min, 180l/min, and 220l/min. Comes with a class 3 filter. The air hose is covered in a flame retardant fabric for added protection.

The unit supplies an overcapacity of clean and filtered ambient air, which is fed to the hood. It allows the user to breathe in air without having to overcome the resistance of the filter.
Considering that an adult person requires some 50 liters of air per minute, the overcapacity ensures an overpressure and thus a high degree of protection.
With a fully charged battery, the unit will operate for about 8 hours and takes about 2.5 hours to fully charge. The unit contains a warning system to warn the user of reduced air supply, due to clogged filter or low battery.
The battery charger fully automatic with overcharge protection and has a primary voltage of 100 - 240 Volts, 50/60 Hz. Secondary voltage is 12.6 Volts
